On-Premise PBX
are systems that are located on-site and offer more flexibility and scalability for large organizations. They use IP routing technology and can incorporate VoIP software, allowing calls to be transmitted over the internet
A traditional On-Premise PBX system is a private telephone network used within a company or organization. The PBX (Private Branch Exchange) equipment is installed at the company’s physical location, and it’s managed by the company’s IT staff. This system uses IP routing technology and can incorporate VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), allowing calls to be transmitted over the internet. For example, many of the existing Legacy phone systems have the capability to incorporate SIP Trunking.
A Hosted PBX system, also known as a cloud PBX, is hosted and managed off-site by a third-party provider. Such as GoToConnect, OneCloud, and Nextiva are our preferred providers. The provider is responsible for maintaining the technology required for the phone system. This means that the physical PBX hardware is not located on the company’s premises but rather in the provider’s data center. Hosted PBX systems are ideal for smaller companies that may not have the infrastructure for an on-premise system but still want to manage their communications effectively.
Hosted PBX
systems are managed off-site by the provider, which also handles the technology required to maintain the phone system. The calls, signaling, and features are routed through the provider’s infrastructure, which is cloud based.
Hybrid PBX
systems combine elements of both on-premise and hosted solutions, offering a balance between control and convenience. They can be a good fit for businesses that want the benefits of both systems
A Hybrid PBX system such as a Panasonic PBX, combines elements of both on-premise and hosted solutions. It provides businesses with customizable calling features and the flexibility to have some infrastructure hosted on-site while also utilizing cloud services for certain functions. This type of system is suitable for businesses that want the benefits of both on-premise control and the convenience of hosted services.
